Practice Exams
Bluebook is College Board's official testing app used to administer the SAT. Below is everything you need to download Bluebook, check your device, and launch your full-length practice test.
Testing Tip: If you know the device you will be testing on, download Bluebook on that device.

Taking the Exam
- 1Once you download the platform, you will have to log in. You can either use a "ticket" from your school OR create a FREE College Board student account.
It can take a while to initially set up your College Board account, so leave time for this!
- 2Once logged in, you'll see "Your Test" (tests you're registered for) and "Practice and Prepare". Scroll down to Practice & Prepare!
Students in California — register way ahead of time as test dates DO fill up!
- 3To launch your full-length practice test, click "Full Length Practice".
- 4Select SAT from the first drop-down list. Then select the practice test number you want to take.
- 5If you have accommodations, toggle that to the right. If not, skip the toggle.
- 6Click Next to launch your exam!
View Your Scores on the College Board Dashboard!
Your practice exam scores will not be visible on the Bluebook app. Log in to the College Board dashboard to view your practice scores — it can take a couple days for a practice score to pop up. Take a screenshot of the score to share with Ellyn!
Scores can take a couple days to appear after a practice test.
