Every question in The Prep Lab is written and vetted by a tutor with 7.5+ years of experience and 100–200+ point score improvements to show for it — not pulled from a database and dressed up with a chatbot.
Practice questions. Real analytics. A score predictor that's actually accurate. And you always know exactly what to work on next.

The Problem
You've probably already looked at the other prep platforms — you know the one I'm talking about. Here's the thing nobody tells you: a bigger question bank doesn't mean a better one. A lot of what's out there is unvetted — written fast, written cheap, and never checked against what the actual test rewards.
The Prep Lab is smaller and sharper on purpose. Every question is built the way I've built score improvements with real students for the last 7+ years — mapped to real SAT/ACT domains and skills, not just "more content" for the sake of a bigger number on a pricing page.
What You Get
See your goal score next to your current score. Track progress over time. Get a weekly breakdown of what you practiced, how accurate you were, and what's still shaky — no guessing whether you're actually improving.
SAT, ACT, and AP practice questions organized by subject, topic, skill, and difficulty. Practice mode for learning. Timed mode for pressure-testing yourself the way the real test will.
Split-screen passages. A built-in Desmos calculator. The official SAT Math reference sheet. Highlighting, notes, answer elimination, bookmarking — the tools you'd actually use on test day, so test day doesn't feel unfamiliar.
Not a vibes-based estimate — a difficulty-weighted prediction scaled against the official College Board conversion tables, with a full breakdown by section.
Flashcards, categorized transition word banks, and a simple known/learning tracker so you're not relearning the same 40 words every week.
Reach, target, and likely schools based on where you actually stand — not a generic list.
The Real Testing Experience
Split-screen passages, a built-in Desmos calculator, the official SAT Math reference sheet, highlighting, notes, answer elimination, and bookmarking — the tools you'd actually use on test day.
Why Not Just Use Another Prep Platform?
"Unlimited questions" and "a good question bank" are not the same thing.
If you've used those platforms — you know the one I'm talking about — and felt like the AI was impressive but the actual content behind it was thin, that's not in your head. The Prep Lab trades volume for quality: fewer filler questions, more that are actually worth your time, built by someone who has spent thousands of hours watching real students take this test.
What's Coming
Full courses and video explanations for every question are actively being built, with a target of late 2026. Here's exactly what's next.
Not live yet — the hope is to have the full strategy course live by late 2026. Video walkthroughs for every question type, the way I'd teach it 1:1.
Every question is getting a video explanation. Right now you get real-time feedback and full written explanations — video is coming next.
Condensed, high-yield AP reference sheets organized by exam and topic.
A planner that turns your diagnostics into a real, week-by-week study schedule.

By the Numbers
Every question is built by the same person who's coached students into Michigan Honors, Wash U, Boston College, Case Western, and more — not a content farm, not an anonymous contractor.
What Families Say
Parents say it's the rare combination of "oh, that makes so much sense" and "why hasn't anyone explained it this way before?"
It's like when you find a really good doctor that you will follow wherever they go. You're that for our family.

No tutor or platform can honestly guarantee a specific score — and you should be skeptical of anyone who does. What I can promise: every question here is vetted, every explanation is written the way I'd teach it 1:1, and the analytics tell you what's actually working. The score you earn is still yours to earn.
FAQ
